GIRL NAME HELP?

As most of you know we are not finding out if this new baby is a boy or a girl...we have a boy name that we both like (Sawyer)...however if this little baby is a girl we don't have a name for her...We are taking suggestions of any girl names that you like.

We were going to name Paisley, Morgan, but when she came out she didn't look like a Morgan to me so I vetoed it for Paisley. :)

I also like Sawyer for a girl. There's a little girl named Sawyer in Parker's pre-school class.

Good Luck!!

I like Sawyer for a girl too! It is one of those names that can be cute either way.

Well you know Lucy is always a good name:) Ha!J/K. I'm no help, since we always name our kids as we leave the hospital.

Interestingly, my cousin JUST had a baby girl, whom she named Sawyer! (www.acceptingchaos.blogspot.com)

I think it's darling either way! Otherwise, there's the name I WAS going to use for a girl, Berklea. (pronounced Berkeley).

Does "Sawyer" have anything to do with Lost? If so, how about the girl name as Sun, Kate, Penny?

you must have some smart friends, because i (nicole) completely agree... sawyer for a girl or a boy!!! that was our plan with kadyn. if she was a boy, it would have been kaden and a girl, well kadyn. i think sawyer is an adorable name either way!!!

Reina:)I think it's great! I am not sure I like Sawyer for a girl name but I do love it for a boy.

Sawyer is totally cute for a girl! I also like Lily, Hannah & Elizabeth

I agree with Reina- for a boy, not a girl. Ethan and Malia are both very masculine/ feminine, so you need something to blend with that for the next one. Sawyer works for a boy, but for a girl.... lots of options!
Let's stick with 5 letters (like the other 2):
Riley
Tessa
Megan
Paige
Alice

But the one I thought of the other day for you guys was Layton, or Leighton- pretty huh?
I also like Eliana, and Lauren (but not 5 letters)
Our Adam was going to be Hanna :)
Good luck- you'll do great and I can't wait to hear what you decide!
What was the other option with Malia? Maybe start a poll on the sidebar with 5-6 options... ?

Love Sawyer, but Sam won't ever let that fly becuase of LOST. We love Caley (pronounced Kay-ley). I also love Avari (Avery), Riley and Lia. We're in the opposite boat, if we ever have a boy, WWIII will begin!

I'll put my two cents in...I agree that Sawyer sounds like a name for a boy to me but I suppose it's like any other name that once it's given to a child, you just call them by that name and it fits. Since we only have boys we haven't had to think of girl names, what about Esmerelda you could call her Esme for short. (Totally kidding, you can probably hear the laughter.) Also Latisha or Latoya or even Penelope. Ok I don't have any great ideas. Whatever it is you'll know when you look at them!!

Well, you seem to like unique names. I really like the name Kyrie and I think it goes with Ethan and Malia. It can be pronounced either K-eye-ree or K-ear-ee. Remie is also girly but unique without being too weird.
